I hope they make you collect like 250 pumpkin seeds or something to get a pumpkin crown...*Yay more mini pets and ectos for me!*

And they leave like an Undead Supply Master after it is over so that everyone that was out partying i.e. ME will be able to get one.

I was out partying last year and I was to lazy to walk home from a few blocks away *I WASSNT WAISTED* to jump on real quick...Oh well I will be home for this one, Cheers all!

Yes, the Wintersday Festival was like over a week long (spanning both Christmas and New Years).

In fact, we got Santa's Hats on New Year's Eve, LOL!

That was a blast though: Snowball fights, Candy canes and candy cane weapons...

I hope by a "modest" Halloween event, they just mean, don't expect a Wintersday type event!

Yes Wintersday was a week long event.

The only thing i had a problem with was that you got the "yule hats" on new years eve...when Christmas was practical over. you had to wait a whole week for it, BUT the candy weapons and other stuff pretty mutch made up for the wait Wintersday had so mutch to offer, Snowball fights (Yellow Snowball FTW, poisoned for 30 secs haha!), candy shard hunt for the Candy weapons and all the other items. So the 7 days was well filled.

Lets' hope they add some things to the Halloween event and then expand it. couse if it will be like last year then 3 days is enough to get it all and do all things there is to do.

Indeed, it was really fun^^

I would really like to se something simmular to it in the Halloween event.
Someting to do with "Trick or Treat", capture the other teams Candy or gather the most candy in a surten timelimit (dosn't have to be candy though, pumpkins, scarry objects ect) kinda like the present gathering in the snowball fight

I only bought guild wars about 3 months ago and heard about these events for xmas and halloween and it got me quite excited!
I heard it wasnt going to happen due to the release of nightfall but im really happy to find out its been confirmed for this year

I'm just looking forward to it now, just a quick question, should i start farming and saving money to get good things or are things usually available from collectors and are things given out?

You could get 240 orbs (at least) form doing all the quests which took at most 20 mins if that. So unless you can only play like 30 mins a week how does it ruin it ? I'd love to get pumpkin masks for my other characters so heres hopeing we DO have to collect stuff to get them.

Who was it that posted a screen shot of 2k of Orr Emblems?
Yeah, I'm thinking that person'll be pissed if they put something like the orbs in as trading for the collectors.

Man, I hope they don't.

The last big event was canthan only, so I imagine the halloween event will be Nightfall only. Let's cross our fingers that it's not.

Things I'd like to see in the Halloween event:
1. As someone mentioned earlier the mask from Scream would be awesome.

2. Some halloween item, maybe an eyeball or something else icky, that would work like a candy cane.

3. Witches brew- /signed

4. Halloween quests/missions in a cemetary or haunted house.

5. Halloween weapons, shields and focus's (foci?)

6. Halloween presents aka a trick or treat bag that gives random halloween items.

Anet, please don't make the halloween event Nightfall only. Ascalon would look great all dark and gloomy with spiderwebs and bats flying around. Also some undead guards and zombies.

i joined like...february last year so i totally missed wintersday and halloween too, so i really dont care as long as it (for some strange reason) doesnt exlclude prophecies-
c'mon think about the rangers, why not let us have an undead pet (Zero would be cool, but i'm sure there could be copyright issues or something rather) ? XD (i kid, i kid), but some devil wings or a new bow skin (a halloween set of weapons, period) would be rockin.

absinthe >witches brew, but i doubt they'd call it absinthe instead.
